After a week of tasting original stock ROM is still a virgin, @AuntDroids was bored. After gathering all the courage and spirit mengoprek, I try fad root of the Neo. Previously, the software that I use is version 4.0.A.368 (Gingerbread 2.3.3) turns out after messing around to xda must first re-flash the ROM using GB 2.3.2 (3.0.A.2.181). Stepnya following:

1. M15 Flash ROM 3.0.A.2.181 (Download Here) Using flashtool (Download Here)
2. Use Gingerbreak or SuperOneClick for rooting
3. OTA updates via settings - about phone - software update
4. Completed. Now we can enjoy the Xperia Neo to 2.3.3 Gingerbread (4.0.A.368) Rooted! : D

The second way that I use and I just try Wotan Server is using. With Wotan Server, we simply install the application, then we can automatically choose which version of the software will be installed. The following steps:

1. Please register in advance at http://www.wotanserver.com/en/account/register
2. Install the drivers first Xperia Neo us to laptop
3. Download Wortan Client in here
4. Install Wortan Client, open the application.
5. Turn off the Xperia Neo, make sure the battery we have 50% more
6. Client will appear in wortan step we have to do in order to be detected HH. Follow stepnya

· In case of HH is off, long press the back button
· While pressing the back button, connect the USB to the laptop
· HH will be detected in Wortan Client.

7. After HH detected in Wortan Client, select the Language and German on the CDA, select (3.0.A.2.181) Generic Trade Germany (2.3.2)
8. Click Next, let the process finish. During the process, Wortan Client will download the 2.3.2 firmware and will flashing automatically.
9. When finished, unplug the USB cable and turn on the Xperia Neo
10. Go to settings> aplications> ON unknown applications, and development> USB debugging ON
11.Masuk to market, locate the file manager to install Gingerbreak (http://www.4shared.com/file/K3HTXWWd/GingerBreak-v120.html)
12. Install Gingerbreak app in Phone memory. Do not forget to format the SD card first we
13. Run Gingerbreak, select ROOT. The process will run for 1-10 minutes. I myself tried it only takes 1 minute
14. Once the rooting process is successful, the Xperia Neo will restart by itself. Do not be surprised if you see the percentage of the battery that only 1% live. At first I was confused why this is so, but after I turn off, I unplug the battery + re-insert, the battery display to normal (about 80%).
15. Go to settings - about phone - software update. Selesaiiii now we have the Xperia neo with GB 2.3.3 (4.0.A.368)
16. FYI: For GB 2.3.3 (4.0.A.368) XLoud this function is enabled. So, the sound of the speaker's Xperia phone is much more improved. At first I thought the sound settings in HH affecting, but it turned out to vote in the level of 60% is quite tinny sounding. Good luck Broid :)
